Assistant/Associate (AP) Survey Outcomes and Impending Consultation – What’s Next?

The initial sector survey is now closed and was conducted to gain an early understanding of psychologists’ sentiments and concerns, with the results helping to shape the formal consultation document. Key themes from the survey will be incorporated into this document, which is expected to be available by mid-year.

Please note that some surveys remain open. The consumer and supervision surveys will remain active until April 30, and their findings will also contribute to the consultation document.

Any progress made in this area has been focused on content development to support the formal consultation process, based on the feedback we have received and continue to gather. Until we have all the necessary information required for a fair and thorough consultation, we are unable to publish the document.

Once the formal consultation is complete, the analysis will be shared with decision-makers, TWO, the profession and the public.
