What is a Psychologist?
The Board is required to describe the contents of the profession in terms of one or more scopes of practice. After extensive consultation, we have gazetted seven scopes.
Raising a Concern
Only practitioners who are currently registered with (and who are therefore accountable to) the Psychologists Board can legally use the title “Psychologist”.
Decisions
The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal hears and determines disciplinary proceedings brought against health practitioners within New Zealand.
