Raising a Concern

The Board protects the health and safety of members of the New Zealand public in their dealings with psychologists. The scope of our role includes responding to concerns raised about practitioners, including those related to a practitioner’s competence and fitness to practise.

What is a Psychologist?

The Board is required to describe the contents of the profession in terms of one or more scopes of practice. After extensive consultation, we have gazetted seven scopes.
