The “Best practice guidelines for working with clients with diverse sex, sexuality and gender” are under revision and the current authorship group would like to invite psychologists who identify as part of the Rainbow communities in Aotearoa, who might be interested in contributing to the revision through editing and re-writing sections of the guidelines, to get in touch with Dr Elizabeth du Preez.

This mahi is in a voluntary capacity and requires a commitment to attend a monthly meeting of an hour, and to revise and rewrite sections of the guidelines which interest you. You will be working as part of a small group, so this is also a chance to meet other professionals with similar interests, explore current research on the topic, and make a positive contribution to the lived experience of Rainbow communities accessing mental health services.
