Complaints & Concerns
Making a Complaint or Concern?
You can contact us by phone on 0800 471 4580 at any stage to discuss your concerns informally or you can make a formal written complaint about practice, or notification of fitness or competence concerns
- If you need assistance to clarify issues or to formulate a complaint, please contact the Nationwide Health & Disability Advocacy Service on phone 0800 555 050 or email . This service is free, confidential, independent from the health and disability system and government and has advocates from different ethnicities, including Māori
If your concerns are serious, we may suggest that you submit a formal complaint. For less serious matters,
- identify the psychologist involved; and
- set out the nature of your concerns in enough detail so that the psychologist can respond to them.
