We are the regulatory authority appointed under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in respect of the profession of psychology.
WHAT WE DO
- Work to protect the public in relation to psychologists.
- Ensure that only those who are registered with the board use the title “psychologist”.
- Maintain a publicly accessible register of psychologists in Aotearoa New Zealand.
- Set standards for registration and practice for psychologists.
- Hear concerns or complaints about psychologists’ services.
